Yes I’m a person that loves face masks. They just make your skin feel fresh and clean and plus its good for your skin, especially diy face masks. I have been making my own face masks for a while now and love-making them and apply it to my face and scaring my son (it’s so fun and he loves it.)
The other reason why I love diy face mask it that you can buy all the ingredients from the supermarket and take home and make them in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
I’m going to be sharing 6 different face masks that I’ve tried and loved, they are for all skin types, so go and grab a cuppa and enjoy.
OATMEAL AND YOGURT FACE MASK
This face mask is suitable for all skin types and is so simple to put together. It will cleanse and rejuvenate your skin.
1 Tbsp Oatmeal, finely ground
1 Tbsp Organic yogurt (plain not flavored)
A few drops of honey
1. Add the yogurt to the oatmeal in a small bowl and mix together.
2. Warm a few drops of honey ( to do this, warm a spoon under hot water for a minute, then add a few drops of honey to the spoon.)
3. Stir the honey into the yogurt and oatmeal mixture.
4. Apply the mask to the face, leave on for 10 minutes.
5. Rinse with warm and pat dry and add moisturizer.
DIY COFFEE AND COCO FACE MASK
This face mask is suitable for any skin type. it decreases the puffiness in the face and the eye are, and it also brightens the skin.

8 Tbsp heavy cream or plain yogurt
Optional
2 Tbsp honey ( if you have dry skin )
2 Tbsp lemon juice( if you have oily skin )

5. wash off with warm water, pat dry and apply moisturizer.

AVOCADO AND HONEY FACE MASK
This mask is great for people with very dry skin. The avocado and coconut oil provides replenishing moisture, while the honey helps to heal any raw areas of the face.
1 half of a very ripe avocado
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp coconut oil
1. Mash the avocado until it’s smooth and creamy.
2. Add the honey and coconut oil, mix all together until well combined.
3. Apply to the face, leave on for 10-15 minutes.

STRAWBERRY AND LEMON MASK
Strawberries contain salicylic acid ( which is great for acne-prone skin), While the lemon juice helps tighten pores and brighten, honey and yogurt have antibiotic properties.

TURMERIC FACE MASKS
This face mask will benefit any skin type, but especially people with scaring, as it can reduce the appearance of them. It also has anti inflammatory qualities that can target your pores to calm the skin.

I am definitely going to try this. Well except for the strawberry mask because strawberries are not easy to come by in this part of the world. Lately, I’ve been doing cinnamon face mask and it feels great.
Thank you for sharing this.
Cheers.
